Ancer Haggerty, presiding judge in two notorious neo-Nazi cases in Portland, hangs up robes

When Senior U.S. District Judge Ancer L. Haggerty officially retires at the close of Wednesday, he leaves as the first and only African American judge ever to serve in Oregon’s federal courts.
