CLE and Reception: Two-hour program concerning Oregon’s 1903 statute limiting work hours for women, and the legacy of Muller v. Oregon, 208 U.S. 412 (1908).  Panel discussion on regulation of the workplace and the evolving role of social science in appellate review.  The program will be moderated by Oregon Attorney General Ellen F. Rosenblum.  Panelists are: retired Oregon Supreme Court Justice Jack L. Landau, University of Oregon Professor Alison Gash, and Portland State University Professor David Horowitz.

Cost is $50 per person for non-members, of $15 for USDCHS members.  All proceeds to benefit U.S. District Court of Oregon Historical Society’s programs.  Space is limited to 50 participants.

Registration includes electronic course materials, CLE credit, and admission to hosted reception.
