Welcome, Judge Karin J. Immergut
The U.S. District Court of Oregon Historical Society extends its congratulations and welcome to former Multnomah County Judge Karin J. Immergut. On July 31, 2019 she was confirmed by the U.S. Senate to fill the judicial seat formerly held by Senior Judge Anna J. Brown. The Oregonian noted that the Senate “conducted a voice vote in support of Immergut, who had the support of both Oregon senators.” According to Ballotpedia.org, she received commission on August 5, 2019.

Clarke The remarkable life of U.S. Senior District Judge Owen Murphy Panner was celebrated on June 1, 2019, at the Panners’ horse arena in Medford, Oregon, under sunny skies illuminating a verdant vineyard, lush pastures, and a snow-capped Mount McLoughlin. As guests took their seats, the District Court’s own Rick Galarneau and Houston Bolles shared their considerable talents from a flat-bed truck stage to provide musical background that Judge Panner would have loved.
